Fahd Al-Harifi, the former star of Al-Nassr, attacked Stefano Pioli, the coach of the team, due to the poor performance of the squad under the Italian coach.

Al-Nassr achieved a victory yesterday, Monday, with a score of 3-0 against Esteghlal Tehran in the second leg of the AFC Champions League, qualifying the team for the quarter-finals of the tournament.

Al-Harifi stated on the "Sports Scope" program: "If I were responsible at Al-Nassr, the first decision I would make is to dismiss Pioli today. The team is not performing well with the Italian coach, who favors some players too much."

He continued: "The style in which Al-Nassr plays under Pioli is poor, and they will not achieve any results or titles. The team is fortunate to have faced Esteghlal Tehran at this stage."

He added: "Al-Nassr has 47 days until the end of the season, and there are many important matches ahead. Getting rid of Pioli is the best solution, and there are many available coaches right now, such as Romanian Cosmin Contra (the coach of Damac), whose style fits the team well."

He concluded: "There must be changes; it is unreasonable to have Cristiano and Duran, and to rely on Al-Najdi and Bushal for crosses! In this situation, Al-Nassr will continue to fail in achieving titles."
