Tuesday 11-03-2025
Jim Ratcliffe, one of the owners of Manchester United, has confirmed that the club is planning to create a new high-level stadium, aiming to be one of the best in the world.

Ratcliffe stated in a press interview: "Today marks the beginning of an amazing journey to create a stadium that will be the greatest in the world," noting that the new project will have a capacity of 100,000 spectators.

This project comes as a future step for the club, given the history of Old Trafford, which has been the main stadium for Manchester United since its opening in 1910. The stadium is located in Trafford, Manchester, and currently accommodates around 74,197 spectators, having undergone numerous expansions and renovations over the past decades.

This step represents a qualitative leap for the club, as the owners aim to develop its facilities to meet global standards that align with the aspirations of fans and the modern requirements of football.
