Officially.. Paul Pogba's Suspension Ends
Tuesday 11-03-2025
French star Paul Pogba has returned to the pitch after the end of his 18-month suspension due to a positive doping test, making him available to play as a free agent, as confirmed by reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Pogba's suspension was initially set to last for 4 years, but the penalty was reduced to 18 months, allowing him the opportunity to return to professional football starting today.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Pogba's continuation in European leagues seems difficult due to his need for a long physical rehabilitation period after being absent from competitions, and as a result, attention is turning to other options outside of Europe.

Pogba's name is linked with a move to the Saudi league, where he has been associated with playing for Al-Ittihad to join his compatriots Karim Benzema, Moussa Diaby, N'Golo Kanté, along with French coach Laurent Blanc. Al-Shabab is also another option, especially with former Czech star Pavel Nedved in the role of sporting director.

The American league also emerges as a potential destination, where Pogba could join Inter Miami to play alongside Argentine star Lionel Messi and participate in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. If he transfers to Miami, he may face Al-Ahly of Egypt in the first group of the tournament, which also includes Brazilian Palmeiras and Portuguese Porto.
