Atletico Madrid is facing a crisis ahead of their second leg match against Real Madrid in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League, as doubts loom over the readiness of duo Rodrigo De Paul and Clement Lenglet to participate in the much-anticipated match next Wednesday.

De Paul suffered a bruise during the recent match against Getafe, which forced coach Diego Simeone to substitute him at halftime, while Lenglet missed the game due to discomfort in his foot.

Despite the duo's desire to be present in the crucial match, they did not participate in the team's training today, Monday, as the coaching staff preferred to give them additional rest, hoping they would be ready to join the final training session tomorrow, Tuesday.
