Liverpool Announces Historic Partnership with Adidas
Liverpool Football Club has officially announced the signing of a partnership agreement with global company Adidas, making it the official supplier of its sportswear starting from August 1st.
The club confirmed in a statement on its official website that this partnership restores cooperation between the two parties after 13 years since their last agreement in 2012.
Billy Hogan, CEO of Liverpool, expressed his happiness at the return of cooperation with Adidas, stating: "Everyone at the club feels extremely excited to welcome Adidas back to the Liverpool family. We have created historic kits for the club together, and we share the same ambition for success."
He added: "We look forward to creating new, distinctive collections that support the team's performance on the pitch, and we thank Nike for their support over the past five years and wish them the best."
For his part, Bjorn Gulden, CEO of Adidas, stated: "Liverpool is one of the largest and most famous clubs in the world, with a massive fan base. We are extremely excited about the return of our cooperation and look forward to delivering distinctive kits that honor the club's history."
It is worth noting that Liverpool had worn Nike kits during the past five seasons before returning to Adidas in a move that reflects a long history of successful partnership between the two parties.
