Potential Punishment Against Al-Ahli Coach Yaisle
Yaqoub Al-Mutair, the lawyer, legal advisor, and expert in sports cases, revealed the existence of a potential punishment against Matias Yaisle, the coach of Al-Ahli.
The match between Al-Ahli and Al-Khaleej, which took place last Friday in the 24th round of the Saudi League, ended in a 2-2 draw.
Yaisle protested after the match regarding the referee's decisions, especially after 11 minutes of stoppage time were added.
Yaisle told the referee after the match: "It’s not equal; with Al-Hilal, 15, 20, or 30 minutes are counted as stoppage time."
Yaqoub Al-Mutair stated on the program "Dourina Ghair": "Yaisle's behavior was strange, and if his words about Al-Hilal are proven, it is an accusation against the referees of favoring the 'blue' team, especially since Al-Hilal was not a party in the match."
He added: "If Al-Hilal files an official complaint regarding these statements, Yaisle will be punished based on the second paragraph of Article 49, which includes several clauses, including insulting match officials or disrupting the principles of fair play, or committing unsportsmanlike conduct."
He revealed: "The punishment could reach a two-match suspension for the Al-Ahli coach along with a financial fine of 20,000 Riyals."
