Kompany: We Need to React, Bochum Deserved to Win
Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany appeared in a press statement after the defeat against Bochum 3-2 in the 25th round of the Bundesliga at Allianz Arena.
The coach said: "We lost, and there are no excuses. We can analyze what happened as much as we want, but in the end, we have to take responsibility for everything and make sure we prepare for the next match."
He added: "So far, our reaction has always been good when we face defeats. It's important to accept criticism, but we must focus on the response in the next match."
Regarding Joao Palhinha's red card: "We will talk about that moment, but it shouldn't be an excuse for the loss. Even playing with ten men, we were leading 2-1, and we should have won this match, or at least avoided defeat. But I don't want to take credit away from Bochum; they deserved to win."
He concluded about Bayer Leverkusen's loss to Bremen: "I don't care."
