Vitor Roque Joins Palmeiras
Brazilian striker Vitor Roque spoke about his joining Palmeiras, a competitor in his country's league, after being purchased from Spanish club Barcelona.
Roque had been playing on loan at Real Betis from Barcelona before an agreement was reached among all parties to terminate the loan and transfer to Palmeiras permanently.
The young player commented on this matter, saying: "When you receive a call from Palmeiras, it's hard to say 'no'."
He added: "At Real Betis, we aimed just to qualify for European competitions, whereas at Palmeiras, we aim to win the league."
He continued: "I did not lack courage on the pitch with Real Betis, but I was unlucky in finishing chances."
