Behind the Scenes of the Semakan and Brozovic Clash During the Youth Match
Reports have emerged regarding the reason behind the clash between Al-Nassr's duo Mohamed Semakan and Marcelo Brozovic during the youth match yesterday.
The match between Al-Nassr and Al-Shabab, held yesterday Friday as part of the 24th round of the Saudi League, ended in a 2-2 draw.
During the match, Semakan and Brozovic clashed before Al-Nassr's goalkeeper Pinto intervened to resolve the issue between them.
The Saudi newspaper "Al-Yawm" reported that Brozovic directed blame at Semakan for hesitating to clear the ball from in front of the Al-Shabab striker, which led to the escalation of the issue between the players.
It added: "Semakan rejected the way Brozovic spoke to him during the encounter with Al-Shabab, before the issue was quickly resolved, attributing what happened to the Croatian player's nervous tension and eagerness to secure the win."
The match between Al-Nassr and Al-Shabab, held yesterday Friday as part of the 24th round of the Saudi League, ended in a 2-2 draw.
