Fatih Terim: Al-Nassr is a strong team and I will not criticize the referees
Turkish coach Fatih Terim expressed his satisfaction with the 2-2 draw against Al-Nassr in the top match of the 24th round of the Roshn Saudi Pro League.
Fatih Terim said in the press conference after the match: "We faced a strong team; Al-Nassr has outstanding foreign and Saudi players, including Cristiano Ronaldo."
He added: "I do not like to criticize referees, and I will not engage in refereeing controversies, nor will I criticize the referee for the offside situations, especially in Al-Nassr's goals."
He continued: "From the beginning, we were in control of the match and showed desire. Today, we had two full-backs aged 19 who could not sleep the night before the match due to the participation against Ronaldo."
He added: "Today, we saw the desire from the youth team, and after the red card, we controlled the match more and managed to equalize, which is a positive thing."
He further stated: "I am happy with the fighting spirit of the youth players, and we could have won against Al-Nassr, which has outstanding players."
He concluded: "We could have focused better on finishing the attack, especially since we reached the opponent's goal. Now, we will focus on the match against Al-Orouba and then concentrate on the King's Cup match against Al-Ittihad."
