Mitrovic: Al-Hilal is a Team Built on Winning Trophies
Alexander Mitrovic, the striker of Al-Hilal Saudi Club, was keen to send a message to his team's fans after returning to participate in matches for the leader after a long absence.
Al-Hilal won against Al-Faihah, with two goals to none, in the match held on Friday evening at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, as part of the 24th round of the Roshan Saudi Pro League.
Mitrovic said in television statements after the match: “Al-Hilal is a team built on winning and achieving trophies. If we stumble in two matches, the fans get upset, and that is understandable.”
He added: “We are champions; all I ask from the fans is to trust us, and I say it clearly that we still have a lot to achieve.”
He continued: “Champions are used to playing under pressure, and we are champions. I am here to win titles and to make our fans extremely happy. Just trust us, and we will strengthen with your support and achieve your aspirations.”
He concluded: “We want the league and Asia, and it is natural for there to be fluctuations in performance, but believe me, we believe in our chances with you by our side, and we will return as you wish. Trust me, we will be as you love and want.”
