Manchester United has placed Moroccan defender Naif Aguerd on its priority list for the summer transfer window of 2025, as the club seeks to strengthen its defense by acquiring the player who is currently on loan at Real Sociedad from West Ham United.

According to "TEAMtalk", Manchester United is impressed with Aguerd's performance and sees him as an ideal addition to the team, especially with his previous experience in the Premier League and a successful stint in La Liga.

Real Sociedad was planning to purchase Aguerd's contract permanently, but Manchester United's interest could complicate negotiations and put the Spanish club in a difficult position to finalize the deal.

Despite having several defenders, the departures of Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof at the end of the season, along with the coach's lack of reliance on Harry Maguire, make strengthening the defense a top priority for the team.
