Zed Club Announces Departure of Magdy Abdel-Aaty from Team Coaching
Thursday 06-03-2025
Zed Club has announced the departure of head coach Magdy Abdel-Aaty from leading the team, following the conclusion of the first phase of the Egyptian Premier League.

The club expressed its gratitude to Abdel-Aaty for his efforts, as it published on its official Facebook account: "The departure of Captain Magdy Abdel-Aaty from coaching the first team of Zed Club, we thank you for everything."

Some media reports indicated that Zed Club has reached an agreement with Hamada Sedky to take over the coaching position following Abdel-Aaty, in preparation for the second phase of the league, but no official announcement has been made yet.

Zed finished the first phase in tenth place with 21 points, entering the relegation group after losing the chance to stay in the first group due to Petrojet's late victory over Ghazl El Mahalla.

Zed will compete with clubs ranked from tenth to eighteenth to avoid relegation, as only two teams are set to drop to the professional league next season.

It is worth noting that Magdy Abdel-Aaty had led Zed Club to promotion to the Egyptian Premier League last season.
