The refereeing committee of the Spanish Football Federation has appointed referee Mateo Busquets Ferrer to officiate the match between Barcelona and Osasuna, scheduled for next Saturday at 10 PM Cairo time, as part of the 27th round of the Spanish League.

Busquets Ferrer holds a positive record with Barcelona, having officiated 3 previous matches for the team, all of which ended in victory, the latest being against Las Palmas in March 2024, where Barcelona won by one goal to nil. He also oversaw another match against Deportivo Alavés, which ended with a 2-1 victory for Barcelona.

As for Osasuna, he has also officiated 3 matches for them, during which the team achieved two victories and one loss, with his last appearance with the team being in the Copa del Rey this season, during their win against Athletic Bilbao 3-2.
