Harry Kane: We Completed Half the Task, the Return Match Will Be Difficult

Bayern Munich star Harry Kane appeared in a press statement after winning 3-0 against Leverkusen in the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16 at the Allianz Arena.

He said: "We took a good step today, everyone was focused from the very first moment, we brought the necessary intensity. We knew that at the Allianz Arena it would be a different match from the last one we played, and we showed that throughout the game."

He added: "Today we completed half the task, it's the first leg, and we can't get too excited. We know how strong this team is, and we know it can be dangerous, the return match will be difficult."

He continued: "In the last match against them, we faced great difficulty with second balls, there was no real build-up play from either team. So we talked about that, and the importance of intensity in winning second balls and then keeping the ball and hurting them in transitions. And that's what we did."

He concluded: "When they went down to ten players after their player's red card, we controlled the game and maintained the momentum, it was good to score another goal at the end, but we will accept this victory with a clean sheet of three goals."
