Bayern Munich achieved an important victory against their rival Bayer Leverkusen with a score of 3-0 in the first leg of the Round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League.

Bayern Munich opened the scoring early in the match through English star Harry Kane in the 9th minute, following a wonderful cross from Michael Olise.

In the 54th minute, young German star Jamal Musiala scored the second goal after a glaring mistake from Bayer Leverkusen's goalkeeper.

Harry Kane returned to score the third goal for his team and his second in the match in the 75th minute via a penalty kick.

It is worth noting that Bayer Leverkusen player Nordi Mukiele received a red card in the 62nd minute, leaving his team to continue the match with only 10 players.

The return match between Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen is scheduled for next Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 10 PM Cairo time.
