Al Ahly Denies Negotiations with Ibrahim Adel

Sources from within Al Ahly club have clarified the possibility of entering into new negotiations to acquire the services of Ibrahim Adel, the star of Pyramids, during the upcoming summer transfer window, following a statement by Khaled Mortagy, the club's treasurer and acting vice president.

Khaled Mortagy expressed his hope for Ibrahim Adel to join Al Ahly, preferring him over Ahmed Sayed Zizo from Zamalek and Osama Faisal from Bank Al Ahly.

In turn, a source within Al Ahly stated, according to Egyptian reports, that Khaled Mortagy's comments in radio statements were merely a personal wish, and the club has not negotiated with Ibrahim Adel due to his ongoing contract with Pyramids.

The source denied rumors about an agreement between Al Ahly and Ibrahim Adel regarding moving abroad for professional play and then returning to Egypt through the red gate.
