Kessi's Readiness for the Return Match Against Al Rayyan
Reports have revealed the status of Ivorian Frank Kessi, midfielder for Al Ahli Jeddah, regarding his participation in the return match against Qatari Al Rayyan, following his injury in the first leg.
It is worth mentioning that Al Ahli Jeddah won against Al Rayyan with a score of three goals to one in the match that took place last Tuesday evening at Ahmad bin Ali Stadium, as part of the first leg of the Round of 16 in the AFC Champions League.
Al Ahli's coach, Yaisleh, had to substitute Kessi in the 56th minute of the match due to injury, with Ziyad Al-Juhani coming on as his replacement.
Initial examinations showed that Kessi suffered an injury to his adductor muscle, but it will not prevent him from participating in the return match in Jeddah, depending on the results that will determine his rehabilitation program.
