Portuguese agent Jorge Mendes, who represents both Lamine Yamal and Ansu Fati, disclosed the latest updates regarding their futures with Barcelona during an extensive meeting with the club's president, Joan Laporta, in the Portuguese capital, Lisbon.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo," the meeting between Laporta and Mendes lasted for 4 hours, during which the future of Yamal, who is considered one of the key pillars in Barcelona, was discussed.

Jorge Mendes stated after the meeting: "There is no doubt that Lamine Yamal will renew his contract, things are going well, and there were no surprises; everyone knows he will stay at Barcelona."

As for Ansu Fati's future, Mendes confirmed that the meeting did not address it, but he emphasized that the young Spanish player has great potential and just needs more opportunities to prove himself.

Lamine Yamal has participated in 35 matches with Barcelona this season, scoring 11 goals and providing 11 assists for his teammates.
