Bassem Qassem Criticizes Players' Performance After Loss to Al-Shorta and Threatens Sanctions

After the loss of the Al-Student team to Al-Shorta with a score of 2-0, coach Bassem Qassem expressed his dissatisfaction with the performance of some players, indicating the possibility of imposing technical sanctions on them.

Qassem confirmed that his team was the better side in the first half of the match, as they controlled the ball and missed two opportunities that could have changed the course of the game.

He pointed out that Al-Shorta's first goal came as a result of an individual error by the goalkeeper due to the poor condition of the pitch, which affected the team's performance.

General Bassem Qassem also expressed his dissatisfaction with some of the substitute players, noting that they did not meet expectations and did not contribute to the team as anticipated.

Qassem emphasized that physical readiness affected the team and that they need to utilize the break period to better prepare the team, especially since preparations were hindered at the beginning of the season.
