Ahmad Hassan, the former star of the Egyptian national team, revealed the latest updates on the health condition of Al Ahly players.
He stated on Facebook: "Shawky clarifies the medical updates for Al Ahly players: Mohamed Magdy Afsha, Ali Maaloul, and Yahya Attiat Allah are undergoing the final stage of rehabilitation."
He added: "Afsha is the closest to returning among the trio, while Yasser Ibrahim participated in part of the group training held yesterday at the Touch Stadium, in preparation for the match against Tala'ea El Gaish after being medically cleared and completing his specific program."
The match between Al Ahly and Tala'ea El Gaish will take place next Wednesday in the 17th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
