The Reason for the Cancellation of the Friendly Match between Al-Ahly and Al-Zamalek
Ahmed Shoubeir, the former star of Al-Ahly, revealed the reason for the cancellation of the friendly match that was supposed to take place between Al-Ahly and Al-Zamalek in Iraq in March.
There were reports about a friendly match between Al-Ahly and Al-Zamalek on March 13 in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq.
Shoubeir stated on Al-Ahly channel: "There was talk about a friendly match bringing together Al-Ahly and Al-Zamalek in Iraq, but it was canceled after the decisions of the Clubs Association."
Ahmed Diab, the head of the Professional Clubs Association, had revealed the system for the matches of the Egyptian Premier League in the second round, along with their schedules.
Ahmed Diab said in radio statements: "The second phase of the league will kick off on March 11, 12, and 13, and the matches will take place at 9:30 PM Cairo time."
