Matches Cancelo Will Miss with Al-Hilal
Al-Hilal announced today that their player Joao Cancelo has suffered an injury to his hamstring and will require a treatment period of 8 weeks.
According to the duration that the Portuguese star will miss from Al-Hilal's squad, the team will be without him for 8 or 9 upcoming matches starting with the match against Uzbekistan's Pakhtakor next Tuesday in the first leg of the Asian Elite League Round of 16.
Cancelo will miss the match against Al-Faihah in Round 24 next Friday, followed by the return leg against Pakhtakor on March 11.
Additionally, the player will be absent from the match against Al-Taawoun in Round 25, scheduled for March 15, and the derby match against Al-Nassr in the following round on April 4.
Cancelo will also not participate against Al-Ettifaq, Al-Khaleej, Al-Shabab, and Al-Raed in rounds 27, 28, 29, and 30 of the Saudi League.
