Al-Muntashari: At this level, Ittihad will not win the league title
Hamad Al-Muntashari, the former star of Saudi Ittihad, criticized the performance of the team in yesterday's match against Al-Akhidood.
Ittihad drew with Al-Akhidood 1-1 yesterday, Sunday, in a match as part of the 23rd round of the Saudi Professional League.
Al-Muntashari said on the program "Dourina Ghair": "I fear that at this level, Ittihad will not be able to achieve the ambitions of its fans and win the league title."
He added: "Al-Akhidood clearly outperformed Ittihad, and there were no spaces to exploit, and they played with good defensive organization."
He continued: "Even in the losses to Damak and Al-Hilal, Ittihad was not this bad in the level it showed against Al-Akhidood."
He noted: "Among the few who made an effort were Hossam Aouar, N'Golo Kante, Pereira, and Rajkovic, while the rest of the players were below par."
