Al Ahly Club, led by Mahmoud El Khatib, has decided to recall its Malian player, Aliou Dieng, who is currently on loan to Al Khaleej Club in Saudi Arabia, at the end of the current season, in preparation for his participation in the FIFA Club World Cup.

Al Ahly has decided to bring back Dieng immediately after the end of his loan period at the end of the current season, due to the team's need for his efforts, especially with the upcoming local and continental commitments, most notably the Club World Cup.

The Al Ahly management has informed its player Dieng of the necessity of returning to the team after the end of his loan period, as he will be part of the plans of the coaching staff for the new season, after the club had previously agreed to loan him to Al Khaleej at the beginning of the current season.

Dieng is considered one of the key pillars in Al Ahly's midfield, and he is expected to play a pivotal role upon his return, especially with the team's aspirations to strengthen its squad before facing upcoming challenges, most notably the FIFA Club World Cup.

Dieng's return is part of Al Ahly's plan to bolster its ranks with the best players, in preparation for continuing to compete for local and international titles, as the team seeks to maintain its strong performance.
