President of Al-Khulood Accused of Favoring Al-Hilal

Sunday 02-03-2025
Mohammed Al-Khalifa, the president of Al-Khulood Club, spoke about the accusations directed at him regarding favoring Al-Hilal by resting foreign players during the match against the leader in the 22nd round of the Roshan Saudi League.

Al-Khalifa said on the program "Fi 90" broadcasted on Saudi sports channels: "We were accused of resting foreign players so they wouldn't play against Al-Hilal... but everyone saw that Kolado was injured and did not play against Al-Khalij."

He added: "I do not understand the accusations directed at the club, which interfere with intentions, and this is extremely strange, and I do not care about it."

He continued: "Fans say that I am an Al-Hilal supporter, but I swear to God, I do not belong to or support any club; I am Khuloodi and I only love my club... Even in my youth, I did not support Al-Hilal, and any club president who supports another team should not be in their position."

He added: "I will not silence anyone, but I am internally convinced of what I do, and I am not concerned with Al-Hilal, Al-Nasr, Al-Ittihad, or Al-Ahli... What concerns me is Al-Khulood only, and I support it and take pride in it... and everyone sees what we are doing in the Roshan League, and hopefully we will finish in a better position.
