Moroccan star Achraf Ben Cherki spoke about the behind-the-scenes conversation with Koller before the Zamalek match.

Ben Cherki said in his statements on the Al-Ahly Castle podcast with Sayed Abdel Hafiz: "The popular atmosphere in Egypt during Ramadan is really wonderful and I always enjoy it. I love humor and do not like negativity. After moving to Al-Ahly club, I was suffering from an injury."

He explained that Marcel Koller spoke with him before the Zamalek match and told him that he would play his first match with the team and would be calm during the matches. Before the Haras El Hodood match, he told him that he would gradually participate in the matches because he was returning from injury.

He added: "I love to play in the left winger position and I see that I get many solutions in this position. I always love to score goals at important and decisive moments, and I am always calm. I know the Egyptian league well."

He concluded: "I thank the Al-Ahly fans for the great reception and their immense love. I know they love me a lot, and hopefully, we will achieve all the championships for Al-Ahly club. I hope for their support in the upcoming matches and that they encourage us because we need them greatly. They are a great audience who understand football, and we cannot afford to make any mistakes."
