Barcelona Sets Terms to Increase Profits from Vitor Roque Deal
Barcelona successfully included financial clauses to boost its treasury in the future, as part of the transfer deal of Brazilian Vitor Roque to Palmeiras, where the player signed a contract extending until December 2030, ending a short experience with Barça that lasted no more than six months, which included a loan to Real Betis.
According to the Spanish newspaper 'AS', Barcelona will receive €25.5 million from the deal, along with an additional €5 million if three conditions are met, which are:
€1 million if Palmeiras wins an international championship.
€2 million if Roque is selected among the top 3 players in the Club World Cup, scheduled to start next June.
An additional €2 million if the player wins the Ballon d'Or in the next five years.
With these clauses, Barcelona aims to ensure future financial gains from Roque's performance with Palmeiras.
