Ahmed Hossam Mido, former Zamalek star, harshly attacked the referees of the white team's matches, confirming that there were penalties for Zamalek that were not counted in the recent matches.

Mido stated via the "X" platform: "Zamalek deserves 4 penalties in the last 3 matches, even in the days of ignorance, not in the days of implementing video technology."

He added: "What is happening with the referees against Zamalek has surpassed the stage of transgression. I don't know if there is a word in the dictionary that means more than that? Is the style of bullying and violations what should be used with the football system in Egypt?"

He continued: "Unfortunately, days prove that what should be used and works with the football system in Egypt is the style of threats, violations, and long tongues; because unfortunately, we are in an era where conscience is absent from many people."

He concluded: "I don't know how the refereeing crew of the Zamalek vs. Zed FC match last Thursday can sleep, as they are the reason for the loss of the efforts of many people who work hard... God is sufficient for me, and He is the best disposer of affairs."

Zamalek drew yesterday against Zed with a score of 1-1 in a match as part of the 16th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
