Saudi Football Federation Denies Negotiations with Campos
The Saudi Football Federation responded today, Thursday, through an official statement regarding the recent reports about negotiations with Portuguese sporting director Luis Campos to take the lead in technical management.
The media and institutional communication department of the Saudi Federation confirmed that the news circulating in newspapers about negotiations with Campos is not true.
Reports had mentioned that Campos, the sporting director of Paris Saint-Germain, met with representatives of the Saudi Football Federation to negotiate his taking over the technical management.
The French network "Le Parisien" also claimed that the meeting took place in the Swiss city of Geneva, and an offer of 20 million euros per year was presented to the Portuguese until 2034, with a total contract of 200 million.
