Iraqi fans have demanded through social media the return of veteran goalkeeper "Noor Sabri" from retirement to represent the Iraqi national team, the Black Falcons, once again, following his remarkable performance in the Gulf Cup for veteran players, which contributed to the Iraqi team's victory in this tournament.

Sabri delivered an exceptional performance in the tournament, saving penalties in the final match against Oman, significantly contributing to the Iraqi team's success, which reminded everyone of his levels during his international career, especially in the 2007 Asian Cup.

Many fans believe that the Iraqi national team needs the experience of the 40-year-old goalkeeper. Despite having retired from international play for years, Sabri's performance in the recent tournament made fans wish to see him again in the Black Falcons' jersey.

Sabri's response regarding the possibility of returning to the Iraqi national team was as follows:

Sabri mentioned, "My return to the national team is difficult at this stage," pointing out that he ended his international career years ago and is currently focusing on other areas.

He added, "I thank the Iraqi fans for their love and trust, but returning to the national team again is difficult at this time."

Thus, he closed the door on any possibilities of returning to the pitch in the national team's jersey.
