Thursday 27-02-2025
Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim spoke to the press following the 3-2 victory over Ipswich Town in the 27th round of the Premier League at Old Trafford.

The coach said: "Today I didn't feel frustrated. We dominated the match and from the first minute I felt that the players were trying to play and we managed to score two goals."

He added: "The red card for Dorgo changed the course of the match a bit, but the fight that the fans showed helped a lot and we fully deserved the three points."

He emphasized: "There are some really tough moments but that is normal in every profession, you have to suffer."

Regarding Patrick Dorgo, who made a mistake leading to a goal and then was sent off: "Players can make mistakes like Patrick did today. The red card, he wanted to play the ball."

He concluded: "Dorgo is ready for the Premier League. Last week he performed well against Everton, and today critics will say he doesn't have enough experience for the Premier League, but I don't feel that way."
