Referee Expert: Al-Khulood Deserved Two Penalties Against Al-Hilal
Al-Hilal won against Al-Khulood with a significant score of 5-1 during the match that took place yesterday as part of the 22nd round of the Saudi Professional League.
Othman said during the program "Action with Walid": "The Hungarian referee Thomas Bogar awarded a penalty to Al-Khulood in the 24th minute of the first half due to a clear foul by Senegalese Kalidou Koulibaly (Al-Hilal player) on the opposing team's striker, but he withdrew it after reviewing the video technology."
He added: "The referee's retraction of his decision is not correct, as Koulibaly kicked the Al-Khulood player instead of the ball, and therefore he should have upheld the decision."
He concluded: "In the 44th minute of the first half, Brazilian Caio Cesar (Al-Hilal player) also committed a clear foul inside the penalty area after tripping one of the Al-Khulood players, but the referee did not call anything, and he should have been summoned from the VAR room, which did not happen."
