FIFA Officially Announces Suspension of Registration for Pyramids Club
The International Federation of Association Football "FIFA" officially announced today, Wednesday, the suspension of registration for Pyramids Club.
This decision came due to the complaint filed by the club's former player, Tunisian Omar Laayouni, regarding his unpaid financial dues.
Pyramids has been notified of the suspension of its registration and the prohibition from signing new deals in the upcoming summer transfer window.
FIFA indicated in its letter to the Sky Blue club that the club's management did not comply with the ruling issued by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) to pay the financial dues to player Omar Laayouni, after the Sky Blue team officially rejected the appeal.
The player's dues with Pyramids amount to $300,000, in addition to an interest of 5% from January 1, 2023.
