Castro: I received many offers from Egypt
Luis Castro, the former coach of Saudi Al-Nassr, confirmed that he has received many offers from Egyptian clubs recently.
Castro said during the "Number 10" program on the Egyptian First Channel: "Of course, my experience with Al-Nassr was very important during my coaching career, and I am very happy to have worked with the team's management. I faced difficulties with the language, but I tried to overcome them."
He added: "Cristiano Ronaldo is a global player who knows how to respect his coach and follows my instructions on the field, and working with him was very easy."
He continued: "Cristiano is emotional, but he is a strong player on the field and has great ambition that he always wants to achieve with any team he plays for, and this is what made me happy, and I dealt with him on this basis."
He explained: "I have received many offers from Egypt, and my presence to work in Egypt would be very important for me, and I must then do a great job, but I have not yet taken my next step in my coaching career."
Castro praised Jose Peseiro, the coach of Zamalek, saying: "I know Jose Peseiro personally; he is a wonderful coach, and Zamalek is a big team. I expect Peseiro to succeed in his current coaching experience with Zamalek because he is a very hardworking coach."
