De Jong: We Deserved to Win, But We Will Fight Until the End

Frenkie de Jong, the Barcelona midfielder, expressed his frustration with the way his team's match against Atletico Madrid ended, which concluded in a thrilling 4-4 draw at the Montjuic Stadium, as part of the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals.

In his statements after the match, he said: "We feel frustrated with the way the match ended, as when you are leading 4-2 with 10 minutes to go and then concede two goals, it is naturally disappointing."

Despite the disappointment, De Jong expressed confidence in the team's ability to qualify, stating: "We played brilliantly, and if we play at the same level in the second leg, we have a great chance to reach the final. The match was very balanced, and we know that the game in Madrid will be tough."
