Real Sociedad loses Naif Akord before the match against Real Madrid

Real Sociedad has received a painful blow before facing Real Madrid in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals, after it was confirmed that Moroccan defender Naif Akord will be absent due to injury.

Akord suffered a thigh muscle injury during his team's match against Leganés, which forced him to leave the field, and he was unable to recover in time to participate in the match against Real Madrid.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", Akord did not participate in the latest training sessions of Real Sociedad, alongside his teammate Arsen Zakharian, confirming his absence from the match against Real Madrid. The Moroccan defender will also miss the match against Barcelona in La Liga next Sunday due to accumulated yellow cards.

Real Sociedad will host Real Madrid in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals on February 26, at the Reale Arena, at 10:30 PM Cairo time, and 11:30 PM Mecca time.
