Because of his attack on the referees a fine on Jesus

The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Football Association decided to impose a financial penalty on Jorge Jesus, the Crescent coach, because of his statements after the Riyadh match in the Saudi Roshen League.

The punishment came after the Portuguese coach criticized the arbitration performance during the press conference after the meeting, as his statements included direct abuse of the officials of the match, which the committee considered contrary to the regulations.

Based on Article (250) of the discipline regulation, the committee decided to fined Jesus 20,000 Saudi riyals, with an official warning not to repeat the abuse towards the referees and officials in the future.

The committee confirmed that the violation is proven to the coach, and that the decision is final and is not subject to appeal in accordance with Article (144) of the regulations, which means that he is obligated to pay the fine without the possibility of appeal.

It is noteworthy that the match was held on February 14, 2025, and witnessed an arbitration controversy that angered Jesus, as he expressed his public dissatisfaction with some decisions, which prompted the committee to take the necessary measures against him.
