The Discipline and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Football Association announced the imposition of a financial penalty on Domingose de Oliveira, CEO of Al -Ittihad, because of his statements after the Al -Wahda match in the Saudi Roshen League.
The punishment came after Oliveira's statements included direct abuse of the Saudi Football Association and the Referees Committee, which the committee considered a clear violation of the discipline regulations.
Based on Article (350) of the discipline list, the committee decided to fined Oliveira 20,000 Saudi riyals, in addition to an official warning that such actions are not repeated in the future.
The committee also stressed that the decision is final and is not subject to appeal, according to Article (144) of the regulations, which reflects the federation of the union in the face of offensive statements.
It is noteworthy that the confrontation held on February 15, 2025 witnessed a widespread arbitration controversy, prompting the dean's CEO to make fiery statements that sparked strong reactions in the sports community.
