Al-Ahly club is seeking to sign a foreign striker during the summer transfer market in order to support the first team.
Al-Ahly coach Marcel Kohler, the Swiss, asked club officials to include a new foreign striker alongside Palestinian Wissam Abu Ali.
Mahmoud Abdel Moneim Kahraba is also close to leaving Al-Ahly to play professionally in the Saudi League next season.
The name Al-Ahly is linked to 3 offensive elements in the Swiss League, namely: The Congolese Silver Janfula, the Swiss Young Boys player, his teammate Elia Meshack and Jonathan Okita, the Zurich player.
Egyptian reports indicated that Al-Ahly inquired from the Young Boys and Zurich clubs about the possibility of contracting with one of the trio this summer, and negotiations are welcomed.
