Javier Tebas, president of the Spanish League, stressed the importance of protecting national industries in various sports, noting that he will urge European Union sports heads to support these industries.

With regard to the relationship with Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez, Tibas explained that the understanding between them is not possible due to the different work models, stressing that there is no compromise in this case.

Tebas commented on the arbitration criticism in the Spanish league, explaining that there is room to improve the system, but the competition is not adulterated, and with regard to the defamation campaign against the Spanish league, Tebas indicated that Liga was the most opposing the European Super League, and that this is the reason behind the campaign against it.

Tebas also criticized the Real Madrid -owned TV channel, saying: "If all the clubs had television channels, the situation would be like a heel."

Tebas expressed his concern about the decline in the revenues of television broadcasting rights in many local leagues as a result of the new amendments in the Champions League, and explained that some leagues, such as Italian and Belgian, have already witnessed a decrease in revenues, while the English Premier League was forced to increase the number of matches sold to compensate for these Losses.

Tibas pointed out that television broadcasting rights are similar to a fixed cake, as they cannot be filled with more content, which causes pressure on local leagues budgets in favor of the Champions League.
