Bayern Munich clarifies his position on the renewal of the Kimmich contract

Bayern Munich president Herbert Hiner Hiner expressed his confidence in renewing the contract of team star Joshua Kimmic, stressing that the club is seeking to preserve its primary players to compete for titles in the future.

Hiner's statement comes in light of the approaching Kimmich's contract for the completion of the summer of 2025, where the player is entitled to leave for free in next June, however, the club president expressed optimism with caution about renewing the player's contract, stressing that the final decision is due to Kimmich.

"I am optimistic about the renewal of Kimmich's contract, in the end, the decision is returning to the player, but I think he knows the value of what he has in Bayern Munich, we are showing our ambitions and our project very clearly," said Heiner.

During the current season, Kimmich performed a distinguished performance with Bayern Munich, where he participated in 34 games in all tournaments, during which he scored one goal and presented 9 decisive passes.

Bayern Munich continues to seek to enhance its ranks and ensure that its prominent players such as Kimmich remain, in an important step to maintain his artistic stability and compete for local and international titles.
