Zamalek club officials have decided to dismiss the Swiss Christian Gross from the team's training, during the past hours and the appointment of Portuguese Jose Pisero, in his place, in the coming period.
According to the journalist Khaled Al -Ghandour: “The decision to leave Christian Gross was taken more than 10 days ago by the Zamalek Club’s board of directors and there was a desire to sign Rogero Micali, the coach of the Egyptian team for the former youth.”
He continued: "Rogero Michali refused to receive the mission before facing the summit in front of Al -Ahly, as well as his requirement for a major penalty clause."
He added: "The name of Jose Pisero appeared by one of the agents, but Ahmed Hossam Mido, a member of the Football Committee in Zamalek, sponsored the entire negotiations."
He explained: “Jose Pisero wanted to get 110 thousand dollars per month, but it was agreed on 70 thousand dollars, which can be increased to 85 thousand a month after 6 months have passed, provided that the coronation of two championships.”
And he added: “Abdullah Al -Saeed assured the administration for his support for contracting with Jose Besiro and stressed the great capabilities of the coach.”
He concluded: “Christian Gross was unconvincing to the players, due to the comparison with the Portuguese Jose Gomez, the former coach of Zamalek, because the players lived special details with Gomez, such as the form of training, attention to diet, enthusiastic lectures, and psychological dealings, and this was not present in Gross, and from here the comparison appeared.” .
