Kane: This is what we did, and we must improve next week

Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane appeared in press statements after beating Celtic 2-1 in the first leg of the Champions League exclusion.

"Our performance was good. Whenever you win a match like this, you are always happy because playing here is not easy."

He added: "There were some moments of the match that we could have done better and we will need to improve next week, but in general we scored in time."

He stressed: "They put us under pressure in the end and we had to remain strong, and this is what we did."

He concluded: "We knew that the atmosphere would help them at the beginning of the match, and they almost registered after one minute. We had to be patient, we knew that we would take the ball more. Sometimes you need a little special quality to start a match like this."
