Seville president attacks Real Madrid

Jose Maria del Nido Carrasco, president of Seville, criticized Real Madrid after submitting an official complaint to the Spanish Federation against arbitration, after losing to Espanyol with a clean goal in a controversial match.

In his statements, Del Nido stressed that the Real Madrid statement represents an attack on the integrity of the referees and the competition, saying: "We cannot tolerate the questioning of the honor of arbitration, and football must condemn such behavior."

He added: "What Real Madrid does is unacceptable, they use various means, including their TV channel, to put pressure on referees, and this destroys Spanish football."

The President of Seville also stressed his full support for arbitration, noting that attempts to influence the referees decisions are a threat to the integrity of the Spanish League.
