Real Madrid submits an official complaint after the events of the Espanyol match

In an official statement, Real Madrid announced that a complaint with the Spanish Football Association and the Supreme Council of Sports, after the events of the Espanyol match.

The club said: "The Board of Directors of Real Madrid agreed to file an official complaint to the Spanish Football Association, with a copy to the Supreme Council of Sports, in the wake of the dangerous arbitration behavior against Espanyol."

The Espanyol and Real Madrid match witnessed an arbitration controversy, after the referee of the match was seized by the expulsion of Espanyol Carlos Romero after his violent intervention on Killian Mbappe from behind.

The referee was satisfied with granting Romero the yellow card, while the mouse did not interfere in that shot, knowing that Romero scored the only goal of the meeting in the 85th minute.

The match also witnessed demands from Real Madrid players to calculate several penalty kicks during the meeting, but the referee did not refer to anything, and the referee was goal in favor of Venice in the first half.
