Tebas: Perez is a bad man, and Real Madrid is a great club

Javier Tebas, president of the Spanish League, continued to attack Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, at a time when he expressed his respect for Real Madrid as a club and as an institution

Tebas said in press statements: “Perez is a bad person for football, for European football, for clubs, for other sports and for other issues, as 26 countries have declared that they are against the Super League system.”

He added: “Real Madrid.” It is a great club, it is a perfectly managed club, but managing the club is one thing and imposing your ideas on organizing football is another thing.”

He continued: “Winning the Champions League does not mean that you are A champion and you are the one who decides how to organize football. European football rejects Florentino Perez’s ideas, but he does not see that.”

He added: “Why is Perez not criticized? Criticizing one of the most powerful men in this country is complicated. I realize that I don't need to go into a lot of detail about it. You live in Spain and you know what I mean."

He concluded: “Did the break in the relationship between you and Perez cause you any problems?” Yes, bad problems in terms of my family environment. But I prefer not to talk about it because it is unprofessional. I have always admitted that I am a Real Madrid fan, and my four children are as well.
