Barcelona announced in an official statement, that it will require the extension of the Luis Kombanis Olympic Stadium, "Montgueck", in the absence of the new Camp Nou stadium so far.

The club said: "Barcelona football club will ask BSM to extend the use and operation of the Luis Companis Olympic Stadium until May 20, although the entity's goal of wanting to play this season at Spotfai Campy Nou is still in place."

He continued: "The club learned that the BSM stadium has been booked since May to hold a music event, but the event will not likely take place."

He continued: "In light of the lack of confirmation of the holding of the music event that the Olympic Circuit has booked, the door opens to the possibility of Barcelona to play until the last match in the Spanish League on the Olympic stadium."

He concluded: "The club wants to emphasize that the main goal is to play matches at the end of the season at Camp Nou, and for this reason efforts will be intensified to achieve this goal."
