Ajax Amsterdam aims to contract with Ansu Fati

The Ajax Amsterdam club management is seeking to strengthen its ranks before the end of the winter transfer market, as it aims to contract with Ansu Fati, Barcelona player, with the loan system until the end of the current season.

According to press reports, most notably the newspaper "Telegraph", that Ajax was initially aimed at contracting Raul Moro, the player of Valladolid Club, but he had a broken collarbone that prompted the Dutch club to search for alternatives, and Ansu Fati was the best choice.

It is noteworthy that Fati is linked to a contract with Barcelona until 2027, but he is no longer among the basic plans of coach Hans Felk, as his participation with the team recently decreased.

The Barcelona administration, headed by Juan Laporta, does not mind the departure of Ansu Fati during the winter transfer period, especially in light of the Catalan club's desire to support its ranks by including a new striker.

The final decision depends on the approval of the player himself, who has the freedom to choose between staying in Barcelona or moving to Ajax on the loan system until the end of the season.

If the deal is done, it will be an important step for Ajax to enhance his chances of competing for local and European championships, while Fati will give a chance to get more playing minutes and restore his distinguished level.
