The Wydad Sports Club has revived the contract negotiations with the Royal Army goalkeeper, Mahdi Benaabid, during the current winter Mercato, after it had stopped because of its high financial demands.

Sources inside the club confirmed that the negotiations between the two parties began again, with great optimism about the resolution of the deal, and the sources indicated that Benbid was preferred to move to hope, but he learned that the green club would not be able to contract him this winter because of the ban.

The same sources indicated that the goalkeeper reduced his financial demands to facilitate his transfer to Wydad, who seeks to strengthen the goalkeeping center in light of the decline in the level of Youssef Al -Muti in the first half of the season.

Wydad Sports, who is third in the professional championship with 33 points, seeks to enhance its ranks in light of varying results this season.
